What is Kokhav Nolad?

Kokhav Nolad ( A star is Born) is a TV show on an Israeli TV that is based on the similar format as the American Idol and British Pop. The first season of the Kochav Nolad was aired in May - August of 2003 and is famous for its great discovery of 3 young singers - Ninet Tayeb, Shiri Maymon and Shai Gabso.

Diana Golbi became the winner of the contest "A Star Is Born",8 Season. The final concert took place in Jerusalem on September 4,2010. Idan Amedee was the second and Ohad Shragai the third. Golbi performed two songs - and judges praised her performance.
